Dipped Money
In 2022 I began dipping wire structures into vats of paint. The vats of paint just sat there when I had no wire structures to dip. In my mind’s eye I started seeing other objects that had been dipped in the vats. The process began easily enough, and so other objects began to swim in those vats of paint: shoes, books, action figures, a camera, and money. Each of the different kinds of objects seems to request a specific exploration.
